Heritage Research clothing has been compiled for those of us who desire an authentic garment from a specific period but want a contemporary cut and aesthetic. That is, a garment which in design, components, and quality matches the original garment but can be assimilated into a modern wardrobe.

All the influences and components that go into making a HR garment have been painstakingly researched. Reworking these original garments again requires starting from scratch - sourcing, researching, digging down through old photos and books trying to find an original - and quite often it takes more than one go to get it right, absorbing lots of time before doing so.
