About Caliroots

The Cali store located on Brunnsgatan 9 opened up it's doors around christmas 2003, focusing on brands with a Californian vibe, such as Stussy and Vans. Cali can be described as a grown up skate-limited concept, with most of it's brands imported directly from USA and Japan. Large parts of the selection is unique, and even when we place orders from established and bigger brands such as Nike, Levi's, Adidas and Vans, we only select the cleaner, alternatively more unique models.

Worst online order experience ever.

Nice selection of boots, so i decided to order a pair for around $250. As the package was about to go overseas to the US from Sweden it had to be returned to sender as it was missing the invoice on the box. This added about a week delay.

As it arrived in the US, it was held up by customs because of the "lack of documentation". The package was again held for 3 days and when it finally arrived at my door i was charged $90 COD.

Avoid this site by any means, their customer service took a week to respond and wasnt even helpful.

Ordered a pair of boots from their site for cheap, however when it got to my door i had to pay about $70 on COD when I already payed $25 for their UPS expedited shipping.

The review above me is correct, they dont give you a heads up about the COD.. The only reason i bought something from them was because the boots were the cheapest on their site but if you factor in the fees and charges i might as well have bought them from another site who doesn't charge ridiculous shipping fees.

PS. Their customer service was decent, it took about 3 business days to answer my inquiry.

Excellent selection. Absolutely awful customer service. US customers beware- these guys will not tell you prior to ordering about the absurd charges you will be asked for COD on delivery by UPS, on top of the shipping you've already paid a ton to Caliroots for.

Caliroots uses UPS shipments which pass a "brokerage fee" for customs along to the customer, but there is no warning of this at checkout, and the amount is not included in your order. I had a 500USD order which I was charged nearly 100USD by Ups for on delivery.
