Psyche, established in 1982 as a new wave/punk shop, first achieved recognition and really turned heads in 1995 by beating off stiff competition from Selfridges and others to win the much coveted Designer Retailer of the Year. The reason? Psyche was one of the first stores in the country to stock Gucci, Prada, Dries Van Noten, Helmut Lang, Dolce & Gabbana, Nicole Farhi, Jill Sander & Paul Smith; alongside numerous smaller and emerging new designers. Though some of the superbrands have waned the mission is still on scouring Europe and beyond to help launch new talent and get in first!

With over 150 of the worlds’ most sought after designer brands, Psyche have an extensive range of stunning collections to cater for all tastes and budgets. Psyche has become an iconic structure as the absolute lifestyle destination for fashion and indulgence and has helped to raise the profile of the North East by firmly placing Middlesbrough as the ultimate fashion hub firmly on the map. Very poor! Ordered a product which was stated to be in stock in my size on website. Asked for next day delivery, didnt recieve the product that day. Recieved an email the following day informing me that my product is now out of stock. Do not order with this company very poor customer service and website is not updated regulary.
