Seven New York

Seven new york was founded on april 1st, 2000 at its former 180 orchard street location in the lower east side of manhattan by joseph quartana, steve sang and john demas. On december 20th, 2005 a new flagship store at 110 mercer street in soho was opened after the demolition of the previous one. Representing the true spirit of seven new york, this new shop was envisioned to be a modernist 'machine' designed to showcase only the most unique and progressive men's and women's apparel and accessories in the world, while providing as much detailed information about these collections on display to the clients in the space.

Since its inception in 2000, seven new york has been a leading force in the promotion of directional apparel design in america and abroad. Its operation unifies the creations of the most forward thinking independent fashion designers from around the world into a single retail space. More than just a brick & mortar and e-commerce boutique, seven new york provides media exposure and special event/project production to its stable of designers. Through keen cultural awareness and careful selectivity. It remains at the forefront of the global progressive fashion industry.
