About Craig Robinson
Craig Robinson New York is a Fifth Avenue atelier dedicated to the unique bespoke process. Offering the finest bespoke service for men and women, it mixes centuries-old tailoring traditions with contemporary design. This dedication to craftsmanship and quality, blending the role of couturier and fine tailor, has earned it a dedicated following of musicians, actors, and fashion insiders. From signature Edwardian cut collars, to fitted lines and elegant fabrics, the atelier’s inventive new tailoring has made it the focus of features and editorials in The New York Times, L’Uomo Vogue, Blackbook, Paper, Time Out, Surface, Details, and L.A. Confidential. The label was also recently featured in the exhibition New York Fashion Now at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and continues to thrive on a passion to innovate tradition, giving each client his or her own unique expression of individual style.
Craig Robinson displayed unique sartorial skills at an early age. As a costume obsessed eight-year old, the New Mexico-born designer made cowboy outfits for himself and his friends. The childhood hobby has blossomed into Craig Robinson New York, the Fifth Avenue bespoke atelier acclaimed for hand-tailored suits, accessories, and the finest custom shirts.
Robinson’s vision as a designer is simple: “I mix old-world tailoring with contemporary design.” Combining traditional tailoring methods with attention to quality and craftsmanship has been the guiding principle since Robinson turned the five-year old private client business into a full- fledged fashion label in Fall 2003. With an extensive client list of actors, musicians, and celebrities, Robinson continues to reflect his unique sensibility through ready-to-wear items, accessories, and handcrafted bespoke designs. With roots in centuries-old traditions of tailoring, Craig Robinson New York provides the finest in bespoke service.
