About Eddie Borgo

His particular interest lies somewhere between the bold shapes and geometric forms of modern architecture and sculpture, and the raw emotive energy of post punk beauty Siouxsie Sioux and the Rolling Stones. His own work peruses a clean aesthetic and clarity of form, employing unexpected and suggestive materials. Crystal spikes are threaded on satin ribbon, brushed gold studs affixed to bands of black leather.
The result is a potent mix of high end and street, boldly embodying the essential contradictions that make New York such an edgy and exciting city to experience and explore.
