You can't begin to imagine the places he's been and the things he's seen in his quest to create the perfect jean: sourcing the best denims, finding the finest indigo dyeing, weaving and finishing. His entrepreneurial vision gave us Paper Denim & Cloth (1999), Earnest Sewn (2004), and helped with the rebranding of Japanese denim icon Evisu (2009). With 3x1, his passion for denim has never been greater, nor more focused, stemming from his days growing up in Southern California wearing t-shirts and jeans.
