About Northern Threads
Northern Threads was founded in september 2006 by Nigel Binnie and Phil Goodfellow. Both have been in designer retail for over 20 years. Seeing a gap in the market for a forward thinking menswear independant store in the north east, they chose South Shields for the location of their store. Northern Threads was introduced to provide the best in labels and customer service, and now having been open for over a year the store has an impressive brand profile and is continuing to introduce new labels of interest and quality each season.

Ordered shirt in sale and even had a “ready for dispatch email the day later”. 3 days later abrupt email stated item was “missing”. Requested refund and I received what seemed like an automated email in response. Very poor communication and poor service. I use many online stores and sell online myself and haven’t come across such disregard for customer care.
