About Coggles
Sarah Coggles is an internationally renowned fashion store with over 200 designer collections. Multiple winner of 'Designer Store of the Year', 'Retailer of the Year' and 'Best Independent Etailer 2009'
The story goes that in n 1976 founder Victoria Bage, was about to expand her successful new business and open her first store when she discovered her lover was having an affair with his secretary, Sarah Coggles. Victoria did not suffer fools gladly though and on discovering the affair, she promptly threw him out and named the store after the secretary to remind him of the mistake he had made.
From a quirky market stall in York, Victoria's own designs and brand offering had made an impact that created an avid customer base, which has remained faithful to the present day. One of the original Northern Boutiques, the store served coffee, played music and offered play areas for husbands, all of which were unheard of in York in the 70's. Three decades later, Coggles is a modern Boutique Department Store which collaborates with the best new designers and established fashion houses.
Winner of 'Independent Etailer Of The Year 2009', Coggles.com is the biggest fashion web portal that you've never heard of with 2 million visitors every year.

horrific customer service! watch out before ordering anything
For the first time I decided to order something from this tedious store, though later that day I cancelled my order. Without single response from the store on the cancellation, I did send another request to cancel it early morning the next day. Also no confirmation from the customer service. Later in the noon, I received the message that the order is just despatched.
Now I received the order, but had to send it back, since I changed my mind in the first place.
Coggles refused to refund the return shipping costs! which is outrageous!
customer service responds with huge delay! and their communication is very robotic, they don’t care about the issues as long as it doesn’t cost them a cent!!!!
BAD BAD BAD!
Think twice before u decide to order from them!!!!
Shocking customer service
Customer services team sent out email confirming arrival of returned item, I then had to forward the email to prove I had received it as their records stated I hadn’t been emailed. Sarky, sullen and ignorant customer service, general bad attitude, reluctance to help in any way from the Coggles colleague I spoke with. Longest I have ever had to wait for a return to be processed, much longer than it took for them to debit my account when sending the order of course. Overall a very poor experience, definitely won’t be shopping with Coggles again.
Coggles Review
I chanced upon Coggles just as they were throwing a sale. I will say that the prices on the site are very reasonable. Also, they stock a interesting selection of trendy brands that is bound to capture your attention.
Those that choose to sign up will receive the occasional email blast from them detailing anything from the latest they have to offer to fashion insights.
All in all, a really cool site that strays away from the corporate business feel that most online shops tend to give off.

Very unsatisfactory ‘returns’ policy on their online purchases. I bought a pair of boots – whilst beautiful- they did not fit – having paid £5.00 in poastage already – I am now required to pay to return them… £10.00 for trying a pair of boots on!! never again Coggles!!!
Coggles Review
The story goes that the store is named after some chick that the owner’s husband was cheating with. Whether that is true or not I don’t know, however what I do know is that Coggles is a great site, stocking a wide ranges f brands across menswear, womanswear and furniture.
For me the highlights of the site are an interesting blog which is updated regularly and contains more than just profiles of the pieces that they are carrying. There is also a weekly email if you subscribe to the mailing list which highlights some key pieces and gives trend ideas.
One frustration with the site is that there is no way to filter searches by clothing size which means a lot of time wasted checking if items are available in your size or not.
I have also found that often the sizes available are small or XL and all the medium and large sizes have sold out very quickly.
